The main objective of JSC “NPC” is to conduct interbank payments and money transfers, as well as interbank clearing in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The corporation aims to ensure the functioning of the national payment system and to create and develop scientific research expertise. Additionally, it is involved in prototyping and implementing pilot projects in the field of financial and payment technologies for the National Bank and its subsidiaries, including collaboration with leading international research centers.

The activities of JSC “NPC” include:

• Conducting interbank payments and money transfers, as well as interbank clearing in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Providing infrastructure for the placement of the national payment system.
• Addressing issues related to ensuring the security of payment systems.
• Offering services for the exchange of secure information, guaranteed delivery, and processing of messages through information and telecommunication data transmission channels.
• Certifying the correspondence of the public key of an electronic digital signature to the private key of an electronic digital signature, as well as confirming the authenticity of the registration certificate.
• Providing users of JSC “NPC” with means of cryptographic information protection, their usage, and storage.
• Engaging in activities related to the use, distribution, and authentication of cryptographic keys.
• Organizing and ensuring the functioning of retail payment systems.
